Mt Gravatt Community Centre is a not-for-profit, registered charitable organisation located on Logan Road, Upper Mount Gravatt.
As a community centre, we proactively seek to work with other agencies and organisations to collaboratively deliver flexible, responsive and holistic services for our community.
Our community centre can be accessed by all members of our community in a diverse number of ways; individually and groups. There is a place and space for everyone
The Greater Mt Gravatt Mansfield- Lions Club assisted the Mt Gravatt Community Centre by probiding Vegetables and ither food items for the food Hampers to help assist the Centre's clientelle. Southside Community Care is the recipient from the club in support of families that need
assistance in getting kids back to school
Southside Community Care is a non profit community organisation and has been assisting disadvantaged families for 35 years. Our main focus is supporting and housing homeless families, although we do offer some other services to assist people in the community. We are supported by the Department of Communities to employ two workers and are provided with 16 properties to assist homeless families under the Crisis Accommodation Assistance program. We also own four properties to offer affordable accommodation to some tenants exiting our homeless service.
